The member representing Umuahia Central State Constituency at the state House of Assembly, Engr. Chinedum Orji, has said that the PDP must go back to the drawing board in order to make impact in future elections.
Orji, the son of a former governor of Abia State, Theodore Orji, who stated this in an interview with the Daily Trust in Umuahia, attributed the failure of the PDP in 2015 to sabotage from within the party.
He said, “We don’t need to fight among ourselves; what our party needs to do now is to support anyone who we believe can deliver us from the quagmire we are in at the moment.
“Any one from our party who feels aggrieved should forget the past and allow the party to move forward; we need to look inward and find those who can take us out from where we are to enable us get our acts together,” he said.
